Thank You Father

Donald Sensing's Thanksgiving photo essay is delightful in its simplicity.

There are others who have written moving thoughts for this year, and this is another powerfully humbling example (Hat Tip: Charles Johnson). If you have time, it is worth a few minutes to read this piece and reflect upon the sacrifice and the thanks we owe those who protect us daily with their lives.

We must never let them become statistics.

I have also written a rant on the Orwellian view of Thanksgiving-- thoughts of exasperation as well as recognition.

Recognition of why we celebrate Thanksgiving.

To Thank a Loving God who continues to Bless us as a Nation even when we no longer think we need to thank anyone.

Thank you Father for your many Blessings. May we honor and glorify you corporately and individually.

Daily.
